I started in the building trade once i left school, I then had the opportunity to start working for a Steeplejacking company in Nottinghamshire.
During my time there I worked on many different projects including work for English Heritage on listed property's and churches. I even worked on the Renovation of Windsor Castle in the 1980's. I worked my way up within the company to eventually running a team of on-site workers.
After 15 years of doing this i decided to work for a Restoration/Conservation company for 10 years. Still doing a lot of projects for English Heritage, Churches, Architects and landmarks all over the country. This is when i honed in my skills for Lime mortar pointing, stonework and woodwork of all different kinds.
